This one’s for the monsters! I love the plethora of monster designs out there – there is no right or wrong way to make a monster. I also like the idea of making monsters less scary for kids by making them approachable, fun, and cute.
On to the awesome…
This shop rocks lemur socks, and the owner is pretty darn awesome. Everything at Lu & Ed is super eco-friendly and upcycled. Each Mon-stor comes with a name and personality, too – these are really well thought out. I’m showing a large Mon-stor here, but there’s also a small size Mon-stor, monster plushies, and even monster totes (This one is my favorite)!
Steamcrow has the coolest monster prints ever. I love their style of artwork, and they’re pretty good with wordplay, which is worth bonus points in my book. They have this awesome vintage, weathered look. Steamcrow also offers monster books and novelties!
Say hello to Just For Littles, home of the cutest monster banks in history. I love the fun personalities and colors Marella gives each one of the handpainted banks. Every Monster Bank includes a super secret message on the bottom, too! Try using it to save good behavior notes or “chore tokens” (good for one icecream after dinner, etc) if they aren’t ready for money.
Kriture makes adorable little monsters that are part of a whole world! Some have glow in the dark eyes, like this one, and others are actually coin purses. They also have posters and stickers, in addition to the several varieties of Kritures.
Unique Creations by Tracy makes these custom little crocheted monsters to order. How cute are his fuzzy little ears!? These are a softer alternative to some of the other monster options I listed, and super snuggle approved.
